Rachel Goulet is the Clinical Operations Manager for the Houston-Lantrip Center for Literacy and Learning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from McMurry University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Hardin-Simmons University. Prior to coming to HSU and the HLC, Mrs. Goulet spent several years as an expense and revenue analyst for the largest division of a heavy machinery company. She has been at Hardin-Simmons University in various roles since 2016. In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
Ashley Alwine is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the Lead Behavior Analyst at the Houston-Lantrip Center for Literacy and Learning. Ashley joined our clinic in January of 2022. Prior to this, she was the Clinic Operations Director and BCBA of an autism clinic in San Angelo for two years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Applied Psychology from Angelo State University. She became a BCBA in May 2019. She loves working with children and strives to help each child achieve their highest potential possible. She also enjoys teaching parents evidence-based procedures they can use at home with their children. Outside of work, she is blessed to have been married to her best friend and have five beautiful children. She enjoys spending her time camping, hiking, playing sports, and reading.
Brittiany Kirk is a Lead Registered Behavior Technician at the Houston-Lantrip Center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Child Development from the University of Texas at Dallas and a master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Hardin-Simmons University. Brittiany has been passionate about working with children for almost two decades. She has experience in many environments such as various special needs camps, home, community, and center experiences. She is committed to making a difference in the lives of these very special children. Brittiany is extremely dedicated and passionate about seeing the daily progress made with the children that she works with and has experienced great success, using her exceptional play skills with the children that she works with each day.
Jordan Hammonds is the Lead Receptionist, as well as a Registered Behavior Technician, for the Houston-Lantrip Center. Jordan has been with the Center since before its official opening in 2020. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Hardin-Simmons University. Jordan has a passion for serving the families and children of our clinic and providing exceptional support to them. In her free time, Jordan enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and playing disc golf.
Seth Myers is a Lead Registered Behavior Technician for the Houston-Lantrip Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Hardin-Simmons University and is currently pursuing his graduate degree in Special Education with an emphasis in ABA, also from HSU. He admittedly enjoys his time spent at the Center and with his hard-working colleagues. Seth strives to lead by example in keeping an upbeat spirit in his work and loves the field of ABA because it lends to his helping nature. He looks forward to continued growth opportunities in this field. In his free time, Seth is a musician and enjoys playing drums for many local bands of various genres.
